Dulwich Shanghai Cup - Whole city event.
Report:
Dulwich Shanghai Cup
Kudos to Dulwich for once again hosting the highlight of the football season, the Dulwich Shanghai Cup. An impressive 48 teams competed in 5 separate tournaments, on a very sunny, Saturday 21st November.
The first thing that struck me was the quality of the football. The teams all seemed well organised and there was a real emphasis on passing and movement, with the odd wonder goal thrown in.
It was a successful day for us at BISS Puxi. We fielded 7 teams and claimed 2 second places, three third places, a seventh and a 15th. I am particularly proud of the KS2 boys who played some excellent football to reach the 5/6 final. Congratulations to Dulwich Shanghai, who beat us 4 – 1 and played the kind of 2 touch football every team should aspire to.
